Seamless Blending and Lasting Flexibility for Log Homes

Conceal® Caulk by Sashco® provides a textured finish that blends naturally with the rough surface of log homes, helping caulk seams virtually disappear. Available in seven earth-tone colors, Conceal® allows you to match your caulk closely with your stain color, creating a seamless appearance that enhances the overall look of your log home.

Key Features:

• Flexible and Durable: Conceal® is highly elastic, moving with your logs as they expand and contract without tearing or pulling away. It adheres exceptionally well to wood in all weather conditions.
• Quick Set-Up: Rain-resistant within 1–4 hours after application. Ideal application temperatures are between 40°F and 90°F.
• Versatile Use: Perfect for joints less than 2" wide; for wider joints, Log Jam® chinking is recommended. A bond breaker, like backer rod, should be used to ensure a secure seal as logs shift. For best results, apply a bead of caulk that is roughly twice as wide as it is deep.

Application & Compatibility
Caulk can be applied before or after staining, but for the best adhesion, ensure surfaces are clean and free from dust, dirt, or contaminants. Tooling with a foam brush or wetted finger helps create a complete seal. Conceal® is compatible with Sashco® Transformation® and Capture® stains. However, it may not adhere to stains high in wax or non-drying oils.
