Targeted Wood Preservative for Decay-Prone Areas

Cobra™ Rods by Sashco® deliver essential wood preservative treatment directly to logs in areas most vulnerable to decay. Ideal for spot-treating high-risk areas like log ends, Cobra™ Rods use a dual-biocide formula of copper and borate to prevent rot before it begins, particularly in logs that are already coated with a finish.

Key Benefits:

• Prevents & Arrests Decay: Designed for high-moisture, decay-prone areas such as logs near ground level, water splash zones, or log posts. Cobra™ Rods can also help halt decay in logs where it has already begun.
• Controlled Release: Cobra™ Rods utilize the natural moisture within the wood to gradually release boron and copper, dispersing these preservatives into the surrounding wood fibers.
• Environmentally Friendly: Copper and borate are safe, effective, and environmentally friendly wood preservatives.

Installation Guidelines:

• Log Posts: Install one Cobra™ Rod near the bottom of each exterior log or timber post.
• Wall Logs: Place Cobra™ Rods every 12 inches in wall logs for optimal coverage.

Each Cobra™ Rod package includes 12 rods that measure 3/4" x 3" and are easy to install by drilling and inserting into logs. Cobra™ Rods protect the integrity of your logs while preserving the beauty of your log home, making them an ideal solution for long-lasting wood preservation.
