Cascade® Clear Coat

Cascade® Clear Coat by Sashco™ is designed to work with Capture® Log Stain, adding a durable protective layer to your log home. Applied over the second coat of Capture®, Cascade® enhances water repellency and resists mildew and algae growth, extending the life of the stain beneath.

With Cascade®, you can avoid the need for a full re-stain. Instead, reapply Cascade® every 2–4 years (depending on climate and exposure) once the top coat loses its sheen to keep your log home in top condition. Please note that Cascade® is specifically formulated to pair with Capture® and is not recommended for use with other products.

For optimal results, apply Cascade® 1–2 days after Capture® has dried, ensuring proper adhesion. Make sure the log surface is free from dust or pollen, and apply in temperatures between 40°F and 90°F with no rain expected for at least two days post-application. Clean-up is easy with soap and water, and Cascade® is available in both semi-gloss and matte finishes.

With Cascade® Clear Coat by Sashco™, your Capture® stain remains protected from UV damage, preserving the color and longevity of your log home’s finish.
